Available for your short-term or longer stay in New Orleans is a spacious 1000 Sq ft. loft apartment located in the historic Algiers Point neighborhood of New Orleans. Experience beautiful views of the city while taking the Algiers Point Ferry across the Mississippi River. The apartment is a 7 to 10 minute walk to the ferry which drops you off on Canal Street right in the French Quarter, so you can literally walk to the Quarter and downtown New Orleans.

Good to know

The Particular Point Loft is a spacious 1000 sqft. apartment located on the second floor of a historic Algiers Point building. This private space is perfect for solo travelers and couples. In the bedroom is a comfy king-size bed and desk for getting some work done. The living room has plentiful seating and a daybed. We have ultra fast WiFi and a smart TV with free YouTubeTV and HBO Max. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator/freezer, oven/stove, microwave, toaster and coffeemaker. The private bathroom has a tub/shower combo and a sink. Fresh linens, towels and essential amenities are provided. Please note: the apartment is on the second floor, up one flight of stairs. The bedroom is separate from the living room and semi-private, but there is no bedroom door.

Check in time is 3pm. We offer early check-in when available. Checkout time is 11am. The apartment is in a building with two other apartments. Please be mindful of the other tenants in the building. Algiers Point is a quiet neighborhood. Excessive noise, especially late at night, is not permitted. Our neighbors will notify authorities if disturbed. You will be asked to leave with no refund if you are a nuisance. No smoking is permitted in the apartment. You will be treated respectfully, in kind, we expect you to treat the apartment the same. Thank you for considering our place. We are gracious hosts and the apartment is quite comfortable. We are confident you will enjoy it!

Neighborhood

Algiers Point is the second oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. It is situated right across the Mississippi River from the French Quarter. The Point is a historic tight-knit community. The unique neighborhood has a beach town vibe (minus the beach). There are wonderful restaurants, cafes and bars walking distance from the apartment.

Find us

The apartment is walking distance to the Algiers Point/Canal Street Ferry terminal. The ferry takes you across the Mississippi River in about 5 minutes. It drops you off in the French Quarter on Canal Street. The cost is $2 and it departs every 30 minutes. The 108 Bus stops 2 blocks away on the corner of Bouny Street & Opelousas Avenue. The ferry and bus schedule and travel notices are updated on the Norta website. Uber and Lyft rideshare services are readily available.
